Part of Encyclopedia of Dog Training & Behaviour is teaching the reader how to train a dog by using a proven 21-day programme. Top dog trainer Colin Tennant’s expert text, combined with annotated photographic sequences, contribute to the success of this book. Lessons include heel, sit, and stand, down, stay and recall. As well as basic training, Mini Encyclopedia of Dog Training & Behaviour features expert advice on overcoming common misbehaviours. Issues such as aggression, persistent barking, attention seeking are covered in some depth.

The Mini Encyclopedia series measures 185mm x 157mm, books are paper backed and have a contemporary look and feel with a glossy cover. Combining practical and reference sections, the books represent the ideal compromise in a world where shelf space is limited, but thirst for knowledge increases every day. You will find 208 fantastic pages utilizing 500 colour illustrations in the new Mini Encyclopedia of Dog Training & Behaviour. A variety of dogs and handlers bring the pages alive. The price tag for this series is a neat £9.99.

Author of the new book, Colin Tennant is one of Britain’s leading experts in dog behaviour and obedience training. In 1975 he served in the Cheshire Police Dog Section and is Home Office-qualified as a police dog handler. Colin began his canine behaviour and obedience training at the Asoka Training School in Manchester. In the early 1980’s he founded the London Dog Training Group specialising in one-to-one training for problem dogs.
