 What is it

What does an acupuncture session involve ?
Acupuncture is a holistic treatment, so during an initial consultation the vet will carry out a full examination and look at all aspects of the dogs life form diet to personality. Each session can take between 30 mins to an hour. The needles, which are incredibly fine, are inserted into the skin between 5-15mm deep. They are normally left in place between five and twenty minutes depending on treatment and the vet may twirl the needles in order to stimulate the points further.
