CHARACTER: an independant, gentle dog, that requires strong gentle training, they are an intelligent breed that are eager to please. they bark loudly but infrequently. can be good with children so long as they are not pestered by them. will live in harmony with other dogs and pets.

CARE: occasional brushing is required and periodic cleaning of ears.

ACTIVITY: training must be consistent, not an overly obidient breed, requires patience and tact. can walk for hours on end, loves hunting and be prepared for long hikes.
