I think theres something wrong with Rio....

Hi,

My Gerbils, Rio, Theo and Leo where all the same size when I got them, great!

But the white one, Rio, seems alot thinner than the other two...

We asked a shop assistant for advice, and she said " Try these knaw sticks, theres probably something wrong with his teeth". So I bought them and then put them in the cage. I put three in so Rio wouldnt get left out (Rio gets bullied by his brother) Theo and Leo knawed happily, while Rio smelt one, then went back in his little house.

Does any one know any helpful advice?

It maybe because he is not having enough food, do you keep them both together? If so, I would recommend putting them apart for a while to see if this helps. Have you got any pictures of them both?

Yes, I will upload them on my computer right away. I think your right, because Leo keeps hogging the food bowl and attacking Rio, but he brings food down for Theo. I will try seperating them. Thanks for the advice!
