New website design...
As I am sure many people are aware, the forum before officially reached the end of its life, there was many things that limited us including the spam, many users were getting just frustrated with the forum limitations, such as the fact I could not turn off the moderation of new posts and the spam that was causing us all problems . To mark this occasion, I have been creating a new design for the petchat website, and can say that I did all the development myslef with the help of CK now and then, it has been a long time coming and that is why sometimes I was avoiding trying to do too much development on petchat.
We hope you like it, and I am hoping these changes will strengthen Petchat's identity (there I go again) and make the site more usable, while also making it easier to develop.
The new website design will be rolled out over the next week or so. While this is happening, if you notice any problems, please can you make a note of them and provide any feedback and/or fixes in this thread.

I must agree with xmasdogs it is much cleaner and is going to take some time to get use to. Well done. 
Glad you like it, as I said before you may find things don't work over the next few days while we try to finalise everything, please post here if there is anything that you think does not work correctly, I am going to spend this evening trying to work out how to add a picture of a forum post. You may see a few tests from me x
Fantastic new layout petchatlover, far more user friendly (especially the forum is much cleaner) and aesthetically pleasing on the eye :)
I also just wanted to mention that this was rather a rushed launch because we got so much spam on the last forum that we had to go live unexpectedly, so you will see a few errors. Anyone who reports them will get a big virtual hug xx
My first post was entirely wrong and I have deleted it with this edit. The issue came with that infernal Captcha, copy and paste a lot of rubbish and admit to being human.
Then, I looked for the traditional index and did not know how to find it - I do now.
I apologise for my previous comments and withdraw every word.
So let me start again. The new web-look is fantastic, highly professional and very stylish. Even the colour is a good choice. A credit to all those who are responsible for the design and introduction.
What can I say ? Only that it is terrifically attractive and a pleasure to logon. It should attract more members.

PS - On this logon, all that Captcha rubbish etc. did not come up. If it does reappear, then I will not be visiting here too often.
Thanks John that is great feedback and these things will be part of the role out in the next few days. The new forum is like a skeleton and you have to keep adding bits which takes time. I will try to find a way to stop that code during login. Anyone else have any feedback it will be greatly appreciated.

I cannot find how to get a notification of a new post
This is such a good site now, really easy to use. Would like to size my photo once uploaded if possible. Also that my messages are easier to find.
Just the images need to show in the actual posts.
My signiture has gone and don't know how to get it back yet.

The site looks just amazing, well done. I wish I could create something like this. Thanks to you and I hope everyone sticks around and we get more people on here as it looks so good. I am going to have a play around with it tonight. Is there anything that we need to know?
