Apols for delay.....couldn't get on site....

Lenny is a very friendly Yellow lab went missing 6 weeks ago. We have had two previous sightings but were both a week old, now this .....

Lenny has been spotted at the Cannon pub to the right of Gateford, trying to get in the bins.
A couple approached, Lenny was scared of the man and backed off but rushed to the woman and stayed around her for 2 hours and acting like he wanted to be taken home, but wouldn't be caught.

His is dangerously thin, weak, tried to wee and poo but nothing came out and he was whinning in pain while trying. He is dehyrated and his eyes are bloodshot.

The lady wanted to take him back home and care for him till she could find his owner but was told " nah, look at him, he's flea ridden and a stray anyway, been wondering around here for ages, we just ignore him "

He then ran of towards the Kilton Golf course. We have arranged for the pup to leave all left overs out tonight incase he returns and also left contacts mumbers.

The golf course backs onto his favourite field he was taken too for walks. From the pub to the golf course is only half a mile, and he has stayed local since going missing 6 weeks ago. So he is, in this great big country, in a half mile area, scared and dangerously undernourished and struggling........
Despite being very friendly, he will approach you, but he backs of / runs away should you try to approach or grab him. Although it seems tonight he is ok with women.
Does anyone live anywhere close and able to help?
Time is running short for Lenny !

UPDATE

He has been spotted at pub again, we have a few on the ground now searching and 2 further helpers are on their way up from Derby with a crate to try and trap him in an area they think my be his hidey hole. Right behind the pub but almost impenatrable by humans but has a flattened area in the middle ( sleeping ? ) Crate, pilchards just hope that Lenny is still here to take the bait

We need to find him quickly so anyone local who could help would be appreciated. Radio are doing hourly appeals for help and the TV has been contacted. Jayne from dog lost is on site searching too.
