My sons Gerbil, Flame, died on Sunday.
Hes really upset bless him Crying or Very sad

We have told him he can have another one on Friday.
Flame would have been 3years old in February, so you can tell how
well he looked after her.

I have heard though that you can put 2 Gerbils togethor in the same
tank. Is this right:? Rolling Eyes

Sorry to hear about your sons gerbil. They are quite a teritorial animal and if you want to put 2 in together it's best done when they are under 10 weeks old otherwise they will fight. gerbils.co.uk are a good site to visit for imformation

Thanks for that. I will certainly give that website a look. Wink

It never bothered Flame been on her own, so im sure if we just stick
at one Gerbil it wont do any harm

I can imagine your sons upset. Hope he doesn't stay sad for too long and I'm sure once he gets another he will do an equally fantastic job of loving and caring for it Smile

So sorry to hear about your son's gerbil.....I had a hamster and it died on me, i cried for weeks Crying or Very sad

I still miss him now!
