I am absolutely gutted,
Went to Bournemouth the weekend with my mate her kids and mine to visit her sister and whilst there popped to the local asda and brought some inkeepers mature cheese with pickled onion and chives and it was gorgeous so i popped to my local asda today to get some and the don't do it here so i'm going to cry cry cry
Did get a bargain though to comensate i suppose, they had some smoked haddock on half price on the fish stall for £1.22 and it was a huge piece the lady behind the counter said its on half price all week due to it being easter.

... not quite sure what connection fish has with Easter, or not....
At least you can get to Asda's, there aren't any in Ireland! nemo - Tue Apr 11, 2006 7:12 am Post subject:
Yes it's disappointing when a store you use stops stocking your favorite lines. We like the Jamie Oliver steaks and near us have stopped doing them.
No other ones seem to compare not even the Taste the Difference ones justlou - Wed Apr 12, 2006 4:23 pm Post subject:

maybe it's an area specific product. Shops sometimes do that so that instead of going back somewhere because you had a good holiday it's because they are the only store that stocks it.

when we lived in manchester we always bought warburtons bread...and we went into a tescos in plymouth on our way out of england to by a loaf and they only had a small toastie variety...when we asked if they had any other loaves the staff memeber said that is the only variety warburtons do...must be a northern thing as in manchester the shelves are stocked with warbies and only a small line of kingsmill.other way round in plymouth
