OK so own up...who allows there pets to sleep on the bed with them <puts hand sheepishly up> problem is I always end up being kicked out of my own bed and into the spare room, then Jack creeps in there and kicks me out of there and back into my own bed Laughing Laughing Laughing

So come on who else sleeps with their pets Laughing

The dogs sleep in the parents room maddy in the bed and bracken on her matress thing, after she had my bean bag.
Maddy takes up the bed and bracken has to be on the floor other wise they'll be a fight.

Photo of Maia is nice

The cats sleep on the bed and Meg (dog) prefers to sleep in her bed in the kitchen - thats her space. I dont encourage her to go upstairs because its the one place the cats can get a bit of peace without her chasing them!

Boo starts in her bed (she has one in our bedroom) then come about 3.30 - 4.00am she jumps up on to ours. Ma be as my OH works shifts & gets up about 5ish/comes in or she gets cold in the winter. In summer she stays on the floor as too hot to be with us.
PS. I love her cuddles in the morning, all be it too early!

When we got poppy she had always been allowed to sleep in her previous owners bed,so we have never been able to get her out of that habit. She either sleeps on top of the duvet or she sleeps underneath.
Doodles on the other hand is quite good. He sleeps on the floor or in his bed,but has recently taken to sleeping on top of poppys bed. He does occassionally sleep on our bed. So some nites its me and my OH with a lab x and a jack russell in the bed

all my gang used to sleep upstairs with me , but after fighting for the covers and getting restless nights sleep , waking up feeling exhausted i decided to change it slightly . dash the youngest sleeps in her cage ( or house as we call it ) which is in my room , then reu , riz and pip sleep in with me too , reu likes to get in the bed but then gets hot and gets out , riz is on his bed on the floor and pip on the pillow beside me . then that leaves the three bed hogging collies who now sleep downstairs , they dont seem to mind the new routine and took to it quite easily . reu is my hot water bottle on cold nights we snuggle in together and keep each other warm !

My dogs have their beds at the bottom of the stairs and the cats have their own room, although the cats like to snooze on my bed during the day!

Meg (border collie) sleeps on her bed beside our bed in the bedroom. She does get up on the bed until we have a cup of tea and digestive biscuit last thing (and of course, the last bit of biscuit is hers), then when we settle down, she gets off and onto her mattress.

She will get up again for a cuddle in the morning, but doesn't sleep on the bed. (Her decision - she could have if she had wanted to, but I think we move too much for her).

my silver spotted cat Casper sleeps in his carry box which is a bit infuriating considering he will not get in the thing when you want to take him to the vets! and the other cat Lola a tortie mix sleeps on the bottom of our bed (has done since we got her as a rescue cat over a year ago) but she sometimes gets fed up of us moving around so I quite often find she is elswhere when I wake up! sorry lola!

I used to let our dog sleep in our room but he started bouncing round the bedroom barking so he got sent to the naughty corner (well its not to bad he sleeps in the kitchen on a big fluffy bed) Cool

Imagine taking a photograph of a dog having a kip! Its an invasion of privacy - those papparazzi! Twisted Evil

Seriously, Honeydlc, I know what you mean about hogging the covers. Our last dog was a collie/lab X (and a bit overweight when she got older) and she slept up the middle of the bed and hogged all the duvet.

We found a good way round it was to get a kingsize duvet on a double bed - several more inches....

Honestly, how sad is that? Buying a bigger duvet to suit the dog??? And she had more beds that we did, and wouldn't have let us sleep in any of them Rolling Eyes

Laughing @ Violette, you're so right, every time I pull out the camera Honey gives me a long suffering look as if to say "not again Mum!"
Especially the time I ordered her some yummy icecream treats from Kyruba, and insisted on her sitting still with the treat while I took about a dozen pics Laughing Look at her face- "can I eat it yet Mum?" Laughing

Hey, honey. I know what you mean about the "Camera" look. We have a brilliant photo of Meg - all bright-eyed, keen, excited - looking right up close at the camera (must get OH to help me post it - me a technophobe).

Problem was, about 2 seconds later, the camera flashed, winked a red light at her, and made a noise.

Scared the life out of her, and for ages afterwards in every photograph she looked like we were going to hammer the life out of her!. Talk about cowed dog begging "please don't thrash me again"! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Crying or Very sad

It was ages before we got her to relax in front of the camera again. (but as you can see below, we managed it.....)

Well my dear beloved Jack beagle had to get under the duvet - but he did keep my feet warm! He used to get out when he got too hot!!
Archie beagle loves beds too although that was one of the rules for our second dog. But they all just love duvets don't they. Laughing

My dog sleeps in his bed under the kitchen worktop. We developed a rule early on when we got him that he has his evening walk around 10pm and goes straight into his bed and we have one of those dog-gates at the kitchen door, so he can still see out into the hallway but can't get out. He knows he doesn't come out until we get up in the morning and he's been let out in the garden to relieve himself. My dad would go spare if he found the dog in my bed, plus, my dog understands the rule and I wouldn't wanna break into a bad habbit.

all the dogs used to sleep on my bedroom floor altho sam finds it harder to get up the stairs now so she sleeps in the front room on her armchair, Boss on the other hand likes to push his luck and if im not quick he nicks my space in bed

the cats sleep under the bed and spend most of the night playing which doesnt help a good nights kip lol

Pan always sleeps on my bed in the nook behind my bent knees tho I think that will change when My husband gets his Visa to come live with me here! Pan will have to find a new place Mima like the top of the sairs where she can see the whole house, Freya sleep at the foot of the top bunk in my boys room and Miss Molly has to sleep with her teddy downstairs (incase she fell down the stairs)

My cat always starts off under the bed covers snuggled up by the side of me and then about 3-4am he comes out and sleeps on my pillow lol. In the winter he would go under the covers right down to the bottom of the bed and sleep on the hot water bottle!
