Post subject: Hi from me and my little terrors
Hi, i've just joined and thought it'd be best to introduce myself and of course my pets Very Happy

I'm Kayleigh, 19 from Milton keynes in the Uk, I've always been around animals since the day i was born as my parents already had a Labrador, a jack russell cross and a rabbit and birds then i had hamsters as i was growing up plus i've also volunteered at the local rspca for the past 6 years.
At the moment i have quite a few animals most of them are mine except for the dog and tropical fish which are my parents.
Here are some pics of them all (I'll apologize now for such a long post Embarassed )

This is Freddie our 3 year old Yorkshire terrier, we've had him since he was 8 weeks. He is my mums dog even though i'm the one that walks him and has done all his training Rolling Eyes

This is Bubbles my dad's tropical fish, i'm not sure what type he is but he's around 3 years old and he hates other fish so has to live on his own.(sorry about the terrible pic but it's the only one i have)

This is Dipsy my 10 year old cat, he came from the rspca at 8 weeks old. He's extreamly temperamental and likely to attack for no reason, he's been like this ever since we caught some kids holding him by the scruff and hitting him with a stick at about a year old Crying or Very sad . But i wouldn't be without him as he does have affectonate moments.

This is Mr Tortoise (i know it's a terrible name Rolling Eyes ) he's a 6 year old horsefield tortoise, he lives inside but goes out when it's sunny.

This is Scaramouche my chinchilla, she is 5 1/2 months old. she's a very intelligent little girl she learnt her name within a couple of weeks although she doesn't always bother to come if you call her but if you shake her treat box then she'll be there within seconds

These two are Zara (front) and Clio my dumbo rats who are sisters and are a little over a year old, Clio is a rex (curly fur and whiskers) their both very sweet and love having free range time.

The next lot really are my babies and are so spoilt that it is rediculas Embarassed . All of them apart from Emiliano came from Mercia ferret welfare and rescue in coventry, uk.

This is Emiliano my 4 year old polecat ferret i got him in july 2003 with his brother (who unfortunatly died last year of organ failure) he's a very placid boy who acts a lot older than he is but every now and then will act like a kit again.

Here's snow my 2 1/2 year old albino boy i got him at a year old he doesn't like to be handled much but loves to play with all the other ferrets especially the kits which brings out his playfull nature.

This is Arthur my 1 year old sandy, i got him at around 2-3 months old he's very placid and loves attension. He also loves having his picture taken and will generally poselike he is here.

This one is Sizzler my silver mitt i got him at the same time as Arthur and about the same age he's a bit of a live wire and so fast when he hears me opening the cage door, he manages to get out every time Rolling Eyes .

Here's Marley my 1 year old albino he's fairly quiet, but is always very naughty in a cheeky way like soon as the food and water bowls have been filled up he'll be there digging it all out once i leave their cage.

Here's Goliath my poley he's at least 4 years old and is very laid back and loves to be cuddled, if you sit down he'll climb up onto your lap to sleep, he definatly prefers human company but he still gets on well with the other ferts. I've only had him 3 weeks but he's made a big impact already.

This little one is my 13 week (approx) albino called Ollie he was hand reared from about 2 weeks old (if i remember correctly) after the rest of his family died, as he was the only surviver and reared from so young the lady at the rescue was going to keep him but a few weeks after i first offered him a home she decided i could have him as she knows she'll have regular updates of his progress plus she'll see him at the ferret shows and when they go for boarding. I've had him 3 weeks now and he has grown so much already.

Here's the last of the gang, This one is Eli a 12 week poley i had to have another kit when i got Ollie so he would have a playmate is own age/size, so i decided on this little one, he's an absolute loony and plays non stop and is going through a nippy stage at the moment but it's nothing that he won't grow out of with plenty of handling, all kits go through it.

Sorry to bore you with all the pics and info but their part of me so had to be introduced too Embarassed Laughing.

it was by my neighbours brother.. and in the end he offered us two cuz he bought some rabbits for his daughter but i dont think she is looking after them which is sad because she did want one of my rabbits button, cuz she always used to come to my house to see all my bunnies and she seen me takin my rabbits for walks so i think thats why she wanted them dunno but i did explain to her thats it hard work and most rabbits these days from pet shops grow very big which people underestimate, and they become to much for there kids to handle..

i wanted them but my mum was like no and surprisingly my sister said no to.. but really scared as to where the poor rabbits have gone Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Thanks for your lovely comments Twig Very Happy If it wasn't for the fact that the ratties are super cute i would let you have them as they drive me mad running around their cage during the night making more noise than a herd of elephants Laughing

I should probably say hi to everyone again as i haven't been on here for a month thanks to my internet braking and aol taking their time to fix it Rolling Eyes but i'm here to stay now hopefully Smile .
