HELLO IM NEW TO THE SITE AND BASICALLY I BROUGHT TWO GERBILS BELIEVING THEY WERE 2 GIRLS I LATER FOUND OUT THEY WERE NOT AND SHE GAVE BIRTH TO 4 BABIES 4 DAYS AGO ALL I NEED TO ASK IS THERE BEDDING NEEDS CHANGING BUT I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD MOVE THE BABIES OR FOR THAT MATTER DESTROY THE NEST . jabbro - Wed Apr 02, 2008 3:37 pm Post subject:
I would leave the nest well alone, mum might kill the babies.

i agree with jabbro i would leave them alone and consalt your vet or a book on when they can be moved and cleaned out how are the babies bet there so cute

yeah they are 2 black and two black and white mum is doing well just hope they all survive !!!!!! i will leave the nest alone as best as i can but i have noticed she does keep on seperating them anyone know why at all ?????
