Having just been to my local Pets at Home store...I saw a website for dogs needing homes...and came across this link....oh boy I've never cried so much for ages

it's dogs that haven't found new homes, after a certain length of time they are destroyed. Even the anaethetist was in tears. To see healthy dogs led from their holding kennel and taken to a big kennel where they are all waiting to be put to sleep. It shows dustbins full of dead animals, and a room just wall to wall in dead carcases. They only ask for a couple of quid a month - thats less than 10 fags or a pint of beer .................. FFS sign up and save another lil guy - give them another chance - the only chance they need is the chance of LIVING! Soz this has really got to me - i just fed my lot and looking at that video just got me thinking; my lot left enough to feed another animal .... bet thats the same for most of you!

It makes me feel sick when I think of all the people who get dogs and cats for their birthdays and end up throwing their lives away because they get "bored" of them. I have my yorkie on my lap now and it just breaks my heart thinking of all the dogs who have nothing wrong with them being killed because people are too stupid to think of the responsibility when they get a pet and can't be bothered to find a good home for it when they can't take care of it.

Although I don't like speaking to him my ex is a volunteer at a rescue centre and I will give him the link and see if anyone there can help to make this more public.
Just a a thought for spreading this further why not send an e-mail to everyone in your contacts with the link and ask them to do the same ..... one e-mail will them be forwarded to thousands of people and at least it spreads the message. I have done this so if everyone on here does the same we should be able to spread the message a little bit further. Its free and spreads the word xxx Go to your e-mails NOW!!!
