Its not that rare for an adult to attack a pup, my dog as a pup was attacked by several adult dogs and I've known larger dogs to attack smaller dogs who also would be seen as less of a threat, some do ...

Just to add, that as ratters, they literally grab their prey flip it into the air and that breaks their necks, so they are very quick and efficient killers. Wink
