I have been here for a year now, and am aware of some huge differences regarding animals. Cats, for example, are seen as merely vermin killers and are expected to live out all the time, loose. Someone saw my "show cats in transit" sticker on the car and was astonished that anyone would - show cats - and have them in the house Shocked
When I started my new job, on the induction course we had to state our likes and dislikes. A large proportion were cat haters! Called them the "spawn of the devil"!!!!!! Shocked
I don't have cats right now but once I am settled with a permanent address and no cat hating landlord, I will rescue a few - I miss my moggies! Sad and they will have the life my previous cats had - a loving home, plenty of good food and proper care.
I look forward to it Very Happy

I am working for a well known insurance company which operates in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Britain. I am doing a job I have done for 8 years on money that is less than I earned 20 years ago, but it has taken me 9 months to get this one so I will have to grin and bear it Sad
working for an Irish Company - is interesting to say the least! Shocked but the people are lovely.

Gill
