Hi, Well all of our pets are different, what do yours give to you? Ours, firstly our 2 cats - Lotte & Chloe They are very independant, but always pleased to see you, especially when it's tea time! They give us cuddles, affection, no matter what time of day or night, they love snuggling up on these cold winter nights. Our dog, Bradley - He's such a loyal, faithful companion. Always there by our sides, and very eager to make us happy. He's obedient (well most of the time! ) loving & the best friend you could ever wish for. What pets do you have and what do they give to you? She makes me laugh and brings me sticks to throw and squeaky balls covered in dog gob. She leaves paw prints on the bedspread and gives me questioning looks when I'm in the shower. She is the reason I get up early at weekends and go to the park, whatever the weather. Here's a poem I wrote, an ode to my dog! It's called Welcome Home. Cold air greets me as I step from the car, I drop my keys, it's dark, can't see where they are, Found them! Phew it's starting to rain, I slam the door and drop them again! What a day, 9 am seem like two days ago, I should change my life, or my job, I know, I know. Keys safely in hand I head for my flat, My heart lifts as I wipe my feet on the mat. Cold nose, warm tongue and a big wagging tail. Bright eyes shining, paw prints on the mail. My husband is laughing and watching the fun. I smile, I laugh too, it's good to be home! Hope you like it! So true as well. Oscar is all over me sometimes and I think awwww he's so sweet. That is until I realise that I have just eaten something and he is after the crumbs.
