Post subject: HAS FIFA GOT CAT FLU AGAIN?? Reply with quote

I have 2 rescue cats fifa and millie. when they were rescused both had cat flu, millie lost an eye to it, fifa has partial sight in one eye. Recently fifa has been sick vomiting, and bringing up bile, and sneezing. I know the rescue centre vacinated both cats for cat flu again and everything else. Is it possible fifa has cat flu? and if so how did she get it?

Both cats when rescused where living in a rabbit hutch outside, so are frightened of noise and dont go out, so i know they have not caught it off another cat. I love my cats dearly and am worried. I am broke at the moment or id take her the vet, but I will have money soon. Rolling Eyes

I'd say get her to the vet asap. Have a word with the vet and tell them money's tight right now and maybe they would let you pay in installments. If you've always been a good payer in the past they may trust you to do this.

Sorry I cann't be of any help apart from this, but I'm sure someone knowledgable in cats will be along to help soon.

So sorry to hear your cat is poorly its terrible to see them suffer isnt it i have 2 cats myself and luckily havent had any major problems yet.

I can't say i have heard that cats are sick from cat flu but i could be wrong, have you tried ringing the rescue centre you got them from to see if they can help or have you a p.d.s.a near by they will treat him for a donation if you can prove your on benefits or a low income or like Anne said most vets nowadays will accept weekly repayments.

Good luck and let us know how you get on and welcome to Petchat by the way Wink
