Cork is a bit of an odd place, known by the rest of the State as "the people's republic of Cork", they tend to do their own thing there and are not as keen on visitors as most other parts. There are some dog shows in the area in July - Munster Utility/Toy Breeds Champ show at Clonmel - I will be there! (8th) Fermoy Open Show - 30th. Midwest Agility - 2nd July. Not sure of venue but Sec. is in Co. Clare. Killarney is well worth a visit before we mad show people descent at the end of August, also - don't miss Waterford. All the way from Waterford up to Clare is stunning scenery even in the rain. The West coast is a lot wetter than the Midlands or the east Where are you flying to? Might you be passing Co Longford? I think the food might get cold!
