I absolutely love grey peas so cooked some today and my daughter looked at them in the pan with and refused to eat them so off she went to the toaster to make herself some jam on toast she said it looked like dog sick lol. ____________

Lol none of you have heard of them i suppose it must be a black country thing where we live at bbq's etc they sell them there and we buy them at butchers health shops etc they are basically dark grey peas that you leave to soak over night then the follwing day slow cook them then add bacon if you like. ____________

in the north of england they eat black peas, probably a similar thing, i think you add vinegar to them...if they are cooked properly they are gorgeous. the first time i was introduced to them i thought my oh mum had gone completely crazy....but no they are scrummy. ____________

They are an aqquired taste but i looovvve them my boyfriends dad cooks his in his slow cooker which makes them even scrummier.
My brother visisted a while back he lives in london and he couldnt understand why i would be eating them he did try them but the face he pulled said it all  ____________
