hello all!
ive started working for a company called creature comforts petsitting, its really good.
instead of putting your dog into kennels when you go on holiday your dog is placed with a host family.
i met my first dog thats coming to stay with us yesterday, he is a english bull terrier called trigger and he is 12 he gets on really good with kia but he hates cats! so im going have to work out a rota for sammy(my cat) and trigger who goes out when and who gets the what parts of the house.
i thought that sammy can stay out all night which she likes better and then come in to sleep during the day so that trigger will have the kitchen and the garden to play in while sammy is sleeping?
im really worried about this affecting sammy as i dont want her to feel rejected
i didnt sleep well last night from thinking about this
what do you all think? ____________ My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am!

I have found a baby gate helps wonders, it means the cats can have escape routes should the in evitable happen and the twain shall meet!
Why not give you cat the run of upstairs and the dogs downstairs, it works for mine ____________ Natalie and Co xxx

well trigger has come today! he was really unsettled at first so i just lay on the sofa an watched tv and didnt make too much fuss of him when he whined, which worked well he is now quite and just sitting with kia. i have put u the baby gate in case of an emergancy escape route for sammy at the bottom of the stairs.sammy was out all night then when i brought her in this morning she eat her food then wanted to go back out agian so she is now outside and the dogs are in with me
im going to walk them both in a bit apparntly he pulls really bad on the lead so the owners said they havnt walked him in about 2yrs!!
so the next two weeks will be like a holiday for him with two nice walks evey day!
pollaton- yeah the dogs come to stay with me at my house and i adapt to the dogs normal routine so they dont become distressed like lots of dogs do in kennels. ____________ My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am!
