I've no idea how you will stop her from fretting, but I would get her checked out by a vet soon. Some infections can cause abortion and if she is passing already dead kittens, the whole situation could get very serious, if one or more remain inside her for any length of time.

Let us know how she gets on.

Jules.

spoke to my vet who said as long as she wasnt straining for hrs just to keep an eye on her, eventualy about 5pm she gave birth to her last kitten no5 who along with the rest of them were stillborn.Toady 24hrs on Ginny is fine and back to normal although still slightly chubby(although ive been told this is n9ormal)she hasnt fretted once and has gone back to her normal self. She has had regular health checks all her life but i think its time she has another now.Although another forum has said its possible for her to have aborted the dead kittens and still have live ones left i dnt know if this is true as i didnt ask the vet.At the end of the day all im grateful for is ginny is fine and well, thank you for all your condolences.
