at the mo, we go to various places, mainly a large petstore over here as they have the most choice. when i get back to manchester i will shop in jollyes...i guess i owe them a bit of loyalty since it is where i used to work. ____________

I get my gerbil and rat stuff from Pets at Home, the primary reason for this is I have no choice!! There used to be 2 petshops in the town centre but now there are none Although there is a great little fish shop near me where I get my fish from, much better quality than somewhere like Pets at Home. I think it's a shame there aren't as many little petshops around as there used to be, although maybe this is just something in my area... |

Food - and odd bits while I am there - I take a trip into another country! A quick raid over the border to Northern Ireland, at Enniskillen there is a Jolleys and I can buy the UK brands that I can't get in the Republic..... however, for major items, special things or particular brands (like dog crates) I use the internet. I prefer Irish sites though as I don't take the currency hit - always not in my favour!
One snag though is Croft, for example, won't deliver to the ROI so I have it delivered to a friend in NI and collect when we next meet. Apparently their carrier's insurance only covers them for UK ____________ Pretty Polly Pavey of Polidot - 06/08/1996 - 13/07/2006 - Dalspa Liquid Gold for Polidot 20/10/1999 - 08/05/2007 - Polly and Polo together again |

We go to various really. Large shops, like pet partners for toys for Lucy and a treat.
Reason = great variety, do not see some of the toys anywhere else
We get Lucy's food, Lillies sawdust, eric's food, fish food from a pet shop in the garden centre locally. Reason = good prices
And occasionally i buy things from the online shops (seems to be getting more frequent though!! ) like leads, Lucy's toys.
Reason = they tempt me to buy something for my beloved pets!!
We go to these places mainly for convenience, cost and products that are avaliable. ____________ Linzi |

I have sasha's sack of food deliverered from our local pet shop as it is local and cheap.
The cat food i buy from our asda whilst doing my weekly shop or jolly's which is very local and we also have a large warehouse superstore around the corner which has its own pet section so i can get pretty much everything from there aswell as a toy each week for sasha or kimba as they start from £1. ____________
