This seems to be a relatively new problem, I don't remember my mother's dogs needing to have their teeth cleaned but in those days marrow bones were freely available which the politically correct EEC have now banned for sale.
Anyway........ who cleans their dog's teeth and how do you do it?
I thought I was being smart by feeding dried food as I believed that this acted in the same way as a raw bone, until my vet said that the action of chewing it softens the kibble and more of it ends up sticking to the teeth in a gooey mess, making the problem worse not better

| well mine are fed a complete dry diet aswell, but i clean their teeth once a week, even though it makes me gag. YUK! |

| I brush Jake's teeth 3 times a week with no problems other than they make his toothpaste turkey flavoured therefore I have to be quick with the brush before he eats it. His teeth are still puppy white at the moment though. I would probably have to pay about £2000 pounds to get mine as white as his |
