I was a cat owner for 10 years to a 14 yrs old before she pass away. I never like cats when we first had the cat and would ignore her. Time passing and years went by I notice Cinnamon was most fond of me and i started to like her, although I called her Kujo because i added too many in-a-ums in Cinnamon.
It got to the point when no day was complete till i'd sit/lay on my bed or couch and have Kujo sit on my chest and pet her. Well this june or late may my beloved cat got ill and my little sister and mother had taken Cinnamon to the vet never to return.
Well a few weeks later I moved to an appartment with my wife as my older sister moved to a city 20+ hours away with her husband and 2 girls and 2 boys. With this great loss and an emptyness in our life we ask about getting a pet with our superatenent of our apt. It's was said no cat's or dog's but we could have fish or a bird. Good thing we where allowed to have fish cause we already had them , Fish are nice but they don't fill the spot of a lost cat.
To the pet store i went and seen a lovebird and thought what a neat pet and started to look into what I would need to get one. Well long story short about 700 dallors later without the bird I am ready for my new addition to my family. We meet a breeder and I feel in love with his Peach face Dutch blue Lovebird and decided that is what I wanted. Well his lovly bird Angel had a few babies about 5 weeks ago and I am beside myself waiting for her/him to come to our home. |

Hi there and welcome
Would be lovely to see some pictures of your new arrival.I had a pair of peach faced lovebirds many years ago, lovely little birds but very very noisey when they get going (well mine were anyway)so affectionate too.
I hope you have many happy years with yours as i did mine |
