Hi,

I was just wonderng if anyone can give me any advice on a Home Grooming Course,if you think they are any good or not.I really am interested in doing a home study course and would be grateful for any help/advice.

You could only do the theory side of grooming as a home study case. I would not recommend just doing the theory before starting out grooming. You really need to have practical experience.
Are you wanting to do this as a new career or just to learn how to groom your own dog?

Hi,

I have always worked with dogs and i worked for Pedigree a few years ago and i was taught how to clip and groom some dogs and i really enjoyed it.I am able to handle dogs etc so have some experience but would like to have the qualification for a new career.

For a qualification you have to have the practical exam. Is there not a local college to you that runs a course?

Sadly there isn't a college nearby that does a course,but i will look into it further.
