Here is a list of what to avoid over the Xmas period -
Applicable to your pets not their owners!

All booze, chocolate – very toxic to dogs, Coffee, Onions, fatty foods,
Any items from the bin! Carcass bones.

Pancreatitis/gastro-intestinal upsets are soooo common around Xmas and can be avoided.

Plants which are toxic include:
Lillys ,Poinsettias, Mistltoe, Holly
Also Xmas trees often contain fertilizers and stale tree water can be harmful if drank.
If you are in doubt call Vetfone 09065 00 55 00 or call your own vet.
Remember all vets should have a 24 hour emergency service – call them if you need to.
It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Have a Happy and Healthy Christmas
