ive got lots to ask been to my vets but there not sure hope you dont mind
kiera my rotti x cane corsa
she was due for her 1st season about 3months ago and still hasnt had one. but shes gone off her food and has bad runs, they gave me some meds but not really had a change, shortly after shes started to limp on her right front fore leg, they didnt belive me as she didnt limp in vets, well she was laying on floor not moving
thats the 1st problem,
rocco my 17week old gsd x rotti,
ive been litter training he knows to go outside but for some reson he does thins: we will lwt him out for a loo let him in or if doors open he'll come in have a poo or wee on floor then run back out to the garden, no matter what ive dont he does it, ive put paper back down and training pads but he wont go on it.
he has a cage we let him out for a wee put him in cage and hge'll poo and lay in it!!! hes had about 4 baths in about 2 days!!!
when we walk them both they take the mic play fight crash into the buggy ect kiera pulls so much nearly pulls me over. take them on there own and good as gold, its just upsetting me and its hard to take them both out inc my bbaby, but im trying to do it more as when i do separate them they cry ect hope someone can help, im normaly good at training but i have so much on atm its hard and i dont want to get to the stage of having to sell one thanx danielle x |

When you say due her first season - how do you know? My Ruby was 15 months old when she had her first season. I know most breeds are anytime from 6 months old but I didnt think you could ever say when they were 'due'. Also their hormones can rise and fall a lot before their first season so it may be that. Can I also ask have you made provisions to keep you male pup away when she has a season? They can mate even when males are only 17 weeks. What meds did the vet give you? Was it for the limp or the season?

how long has she been limping? Did she injure herself?

try taking him outside on his lead and trotting him round till he goes - it may take 15 mins or so but better than peeing on the carpet eh When he does go go mental with praise and treats
Cant help you on walking 2 dogs at once as I only have one but we are getting a second puppy in a few months and I plan on walking them seperately for ages. I know lots of people struggle walking 2 dogs - it wont help that you have 2 pups tbh so I would think seperate walks is the way to go ____________ Vicky, Daisy and Ruby xx

deffinately they should be walked separately at the moment as they are both so young and obviously need lots of training by the sounds of it.
Have you booked them into training classess? You really should or you are just going to be another statistic....'i need to rehome my dogs as i cant cope with them and my children'
Your Corso x needs a trip to the vets as her limping could be caused by a number of things. If she has severe diarrohea then you need to starve her for at least 24 hours, but if it is that bad then 48 hours would be best and then start feeding her simple plain and easily digestible food - boiled chicken and rice in small quantities before putting her back on her normal food!!!!
Your pup and his house training....dont panic...some dogs take longer than others to house train BUT you really need to be on top of it..... take him outside after every meal and when he wakes up from having a sleep and stand with him outside until he goes...then praise him loads and give him a treat....its no good just putting him outside and closing the door on him....you MUST be with him for this to work and for him to associate lots of attention and treats with toileting outside!! God i remember the amount of times I had to stand around in the garden in the pooring rain for ages waiting for my pup to go....and late at night in the pitch black with a torch freezing cold and tired lol....the joys of owning a puppy huh!
And as has already been said, please be extra careful with making sure your two dogs do not mate....there are enough crossbreeds in rescue and being put to sleep every day without more being added to the list. ____________

we did starve her and do boild chicken as vets said but she didnt eat it!!
i now have to collect 3days poo for the vet on tues, and as i said vet doesnt belive me about the limping
oh and most of the times i do walk them on there own kiera (corsa x) used to walk great but even now on her own shes bad, and just to top it off for the 1st time ever she ran away this morning, got her bk about 1hr later but omg thats not my dog |

you could try this kennel below
Hound Hotel
The Cottage, Lower East End Farm Cottage, Harlington, Dunstable, Bedfordshire LU5 6LJ
Tel: 01525 872951 Boarding Kennels
I dont think they are any cheaper than any other boarding kennels but there is a lady there most days called Jackie who runs Cane Corso Rescue.... if you speak to her she may be able to get a kennel for your dog....but she does not run the kennels and has to pay for her own rescues to board there so you will still have to pay whatever their going rate is ____________
