| Post subject: Points or PetPounds - what's the difference?? |

I know what petpounds are - I have been spending them like water (not unlike the real ones, but at least they are simple to earn!).
But when I just logged on, I actually looked at my profile, and see that I also have points.
I guess in the past I just never noticed this, or else assumed that it was the same thing - but it can't be, because they have different values (50 points, and 80-something petpounds).
So can anybody help me and tell me what the points are? And what they are for?
Please? Pretty please? Give a paw and hope for a biscuit?  |

Points are how you get your paw prints to become pack leader I believe, there is a chart on the left handside showing who are the top posters.
hmm  Looks like I am spending far too much time on here

I don't know what you call it, or where to find it once you have joined in the forums, but I saw it on that screen I got when I first logged on. It gives details of various sorts, including petpounds (I think), but it also says how many points you have.
Confused? Me?
OK, editing this to say I have just logged out and in again to see what it was:
It says at the top "Welcome Violette, this is your personal page", and I seem to get the same thing when I am logged on, but click on "Your Account" in the blue letters at the very top left of the screen (not on the file tabs) - the words that are right under "Pet Chat".
Now you know I'm telling the truth when I tell you I'm not technical! I'm just nosey! |

I have found this out for you. 
Recommendation to a Friend Each time a user sends the link to our site to a friend via Recommend Us Module= 1 point.
Forum New Post Each time the user opens a new thread in the Forums = 5 points.
Forum Answer Post Forums threads answered or replied = 4 points.
Click on any Banner The best way to give back a user something is to give him some points for banner clicks on your site= 6 points.
Not sure if Petchatadmin has changed these though.
