I think Guineapigs make such funny noises! The first time I heard one I wondered what it was
The parents of an ex-boyfriend of mine had a chinchilla and that was sweet, although not particularly friendly. Could climb and run at a rate of knots though, very fast!
Personally, I prefer my Corbie, although something smaller wouldn't be able to get their paws on the kitchen work surfaces ____________ My Pet Portraits

i had many guineapigs and rabbits until the fox came, guineapigs (cavies to give them their proper name) are very sweet little things they make better childrens pets than rabbits i mean i am in my mid teens and when i had around 16 rabbits i use to struggle with their handling as they can be very full on.
i had around 6 cavies until thge fox came, they were all royal crested cavies and very sweet, i have had shelties aswell very long haired little cavies, but my all time favourites were the royal crested thus why i used to breed them.
best wishes |

Hiya, i lost the link to the site when my internet provider stole my favourites list and came across the site the other day and thought i'm a member of there so thought i would pop by
I have 7 degu's at the moment but the number goes up depending on if i rescue. They are as easy to look after as hamsters and gerbils in my opinion as i have had both, the diet is the hardest part as it needs to be low in sugar but apart from that they make fantastic fun pets. I will have to sort some pictures out as i have hundreds |

its got to be gerbils no question. i have 2 (nothing compared to the numbers of pets people have!) they're easy to look after, and the love attension. and the best bit is that you dont have to take them out for walks in the pouring rain! ____________ Only this crazy guy can understand the true joys in playing with washing...

They are easy to look after. They do like to chew things though so we have to make sure that all our cables are tucked away safely.
They do need to be handled alot but apart from that and making sure they have a sand bath they are just as easy as keeping mice, hamsters, rabbits etc.
I would reccomend them as good pets however i dont let my 2 year old son touch them as they occasionaly like to have a little nibble but thats because i recently moved house and didnt get time to handle them for a good week but they are getting better now |
