Post subject: cat with tartar Reply with quote

Hi
With a rescue cat with tartar on her teeth my vet suggested Hills oral care which was pricey but the cat would only eat 1 or 2 bits at a push. Any other products good for tartar?
She does have dry and wet food.

i have just thought- can you use a tooth brush on cats? you could perhaps try using a small breed dog toth brush!
or how about buying him a whole rabbit every week that must help!
prey for lots of sun for me next week

We gave our cats special cat toothpaste once but they just lick it off.

If you speak to your vets, a lot of practices do free dental clinics and they could advise you what the best thing is to do.

The vets gave me the hills oral care. I was wondering what other food products were out there that she might like.
