Oh lovely pics!
I used to have a ferret called Mojo, I used to take him to the woods on his harness and lead for a walk with the dogs, he loved it! I'd love to have another one someday, super little things! XX ____________ Georgia, Honey Bear, Rosie, Obi, Timber, Mia, Oscar and Mango XXXX

if you would like a ferret their are loads needing homes in rescues id be happy to help you find one, it brakes my heart but people get them and dont realise they live for up to 14 years! and need lots of taming as other wise they will have your finger off!

Thanks for starting this thread, you've brought back loads of lovely memories for me of my Mojo! Although he was 5 or 6 when I first got him, sadly I only had him for a few years as he got cancer and had to be put to sleep, but what a personality! I thought they were very like puppies that never grew up
I remember when I first got him though, he'd never really been handled and he bit me on the hand between my thumb and first finger. It took two grown men to prise him off again He soon turned into a lovely boy though with a bit of love and training. I used to take him to the pub with me sometimes, he loved all the attention!
As I said, I'd love to have one again, but at the moment it wouldn't really be ideal, I have two dogs, three cats and a parrot already, but one day!

Please, I can't see them. Am I doing something wrong? Or are you having me on...?
OMG, how embarassing - they're there now! How did that happen? I wasn't logged on before (only remembered to log on when I wanted to post) - would that have made a difference?
oh, yes, and they are lovely! |

hi
im glad you enjoyed your ferret as much as i do honeydic, i take my gnasher with me to places all the time, hes even been on holiday with us and often goes on the bus with me , although i think iv got a bit of a reputation as the ferret lady as random people come up and chat about my ferret and have a stroke, now if i go out with out him people say "no gnasher today!" although this has got a sad side as when my lovely gypsie died, i had loads of people ask me where gypsie was and of cauce id have them in tears with me when i would say she had died, the worst people for it were the butcher, post lady and bakery as i would often leave gypsie by the front door and get my meat/bread etc so when i came with out her they new somthing wasnt right and they already new about the tummer so i had them crying before i even got in the shop!
but its lovely to know gypsie touched so many people, as has gnasher and merlin is getting, their although im worryed he will get a complex as all he gets is "what a lovely/handsome/friendly pup but he wont ever be like gypsie, oh i loved that dog!" but i keep telling him i love him, so thats all that counts and so does my fammily.
any one else intrested in getting a ferret - let me know!
