This is my rabbit Nemo, when we bought him from a pet shop, he was sold to us as a netherland dwarf, but looks nothing like pics of netherland dwarves! What do other people think regarding his breed??? |

Definately not a dwarf. He may be an english cross lop but he's gorgeous just the same.
Next time you want a rabbit go to a breeder of the breed you are interested in (or a rescue) and get the right one. Netherland Dwarf's have tiny tiny ears.

| His parents were probably crosses as well, he looks as if he has some english, lionhead and possible dwarf lop in him. Petshops never get it right concerning breeds unless its something obvious like a dutch. |

| Lots of Pet shops will sell the rabbits saying their something else to get rid of them stricktly business but there are a lot of people going into petshop work not having a clue about breeds. Before buying a rabbit in future look at the pictures on google and you will know what rabbit you are looking for. |

What did he die from? He looked like a lion head cross lop or english to me. If you are going to get rabbits i suggest rehoming a rescue there are an extimated 33,000 bunnies young, old, big, small looking for homes sat in rescues. Petshops cause all that mess, moat are certainly not to be trusted and this is a classic example. So sorry this you have lost your bun |
