This discussion keeps coming up... IMO, putting clothes on a dog that needs them for health reasons, or warmth or protection against weather or other conditions is totally different from dressing them up like little dollies. I'm not objecting to somebody putting a hat or reindeer antlers on a dog for a short joke - but to dress the dog up as something it is not is definitely not kind to the dog. They may tolerate it, and may even enjoy the attention, but what a sad way to get it. You want a dog? Treat it like a dog. You want a dress-up doll? Get a dress-up doll.
