Can you show non-pedigree and cross breeds?
I know a hunt club shows you can show dogs that are mixes between two different hounds, or two different terriers.
but i was wondering where else can you show cross breed dogs?

You can show them in Companion shows, they have special groups for them such as most handsome dog, pretties bitch, best rescue plus lots more. These shows go on all the time usually in summer and are great fun.

ok.... the short answer is that you can, though not at shows held under Kennel Club rules. The shows used to be called Exemption shows as they were exempt from Kennel Club rules, and although they have a few pedigree classes, most are for any dog regardless of type or background. They now go by the name of Companion Dog Shows. Because it is difficult to "show" non-pedigrees as there is no "breed standard" to compare them to, there are classes for veteran, brace (pairs), best rescued dog, best condition.... that sort of thing. In addition there are lots of fun classes such as dog most like its owner, waggiest tail, childrens classes etc.
This type of show is held in a field behind a pub, a rescue centre or in conjunction with a village fete or agricultural event and usually aims to raise money for a local charity. They will be advertised in the local paper and you enter on the day.

Thanks for the useful information i believe there is a fete every year at the rescue centre, and i knw there is a fete held every year, not too far away, not too sure about the dog shows, it is more focused on the local sheepdogs!
