New years resolutions

Has anyone thought of any new years resolutions yet? I plan to quit smoking but as i have been saying that for 7 years now, i very much doubt it will happen Rolling Eyes

Im shocked Clare you never told me you smoked, bet you do it speaking to me, i hate it

you need to believe in yourself if you really want to stop, try taking less and have mint polos for each cigarette trust me my father and grandparents smoked. and my grandpa quit so did my father

It took me three attempts before i finally managed to give up smoking, i was quite a heavy smoker but managed to quit 4 years ago, good luck if you give it a go.
I dont make new years resolutions. Smile

But good luck with giving up smoking it's something I never started and I'm relieved to say neither of my children have either but both of their partners did but they have both given it up Laughing

mine is going to be to continue with my diet when i get back from holiday in jan. i started it last saturday its my 1st weigh in this sat so hopefully ive lost loads Laughing

has anybody else done the lipotrim diet before?

I am growing old far too quick, so some years back I concluded that the best New Years Resolution was "quit being so tough on myself.... Chill"

But for all you smokers out there... Quit smoking, take up drinking instead Surprised

Easy for me to say I live in France where a good bottle of Vin is just 1 euro, that's right, less than a British quid... hehe

I wish i had never started smoking to be honest but that is the problem when you are yound and easily influenced Sad

To any teenagers that maybe reading this then DONT start smoking, it realy isnt as cool as people make it out to be Wink

I have to lose weight for medical reasons, this is what i do.

Eat less and excersise more.

My dr told me that if drink water before you eat and that will make you feel less hungry, because

I dont diet

The slightest movement is excersise or something, cant remember

If you walk every day then you will start to feel weight dropping around the hips and side, i think, do that for a couple of months and see how it goes, i did it at the beginning of the year, and i lost 2 stone, then stupidly put it back on but i i did lose 7 pounds.

I cant walk very far now or go as quick cause of leg and knee trouble.

All that works for me.

Mine is to give up smoking too, but then it's been that for the last ten years or so Rolling Eyes

At least I don't smoke inside so my cigarette consumption drops significantly during the cold winter months Laughing

Good luck to all those that are on a diet

I lost 2 and half stone about 3 years ago and have managed to keep it off I don't diet now I just try and eat sensible most of all I always eat breakfast which is usually porridge (I love It) so try and eat 3 meals a day and not eat in between meals and keep to low fats

But everyone is different so you have to find the right diet for you

It's really hard and when I lost my weight I joined a slimming club and if you go with a friend you find you work at it

I'm not all that keen on exercise but I do a lot of walking

Sh has just had a baby and was talking about joining one, so least i will have someone to go with Very Happy
