I want to install a catflap, but all my doors are uPVC. In particular, my back door has a double glazed glass upper half, and a PVC lower half.
Has anyone tried to put a catflap into such a door?
At first sight the lower half appears to be an inside PVC panel and an outside PVC panel with, presumably, some insulation in between. It should be easy then to cut a hole in this material.
Any opinions?

You can cut a hole in it the same as any other it's just insulated through the middle. Had a dog flap put through one I had!

That's exactly the same as our back door, and we put one in recently. Well, not us, but Staybrite came and did it. It was actually a Coldseal door, but Staybrite did our windows, and rang up offering us some free work. (I suspect in hindsight, it was only supposed to be free if we ordered more stuff from them, but we managed to wangle it, as they did offer it at one point.)
The only thing was that we had to advise them in writing that we wouldn't blame them if it all went wrong, as it wasn't their door originally.
But at the end of the day, if they can come and put in double glazing etc, then how hard can it be to cut a hole in a door?
