NEED HELP PLZZZZZ

Hello all

i am new to the forum and desperatley seeking advice

on tuesday night i found a stray Dalmation i took her in and gave her food and water etc but could not keep her overnight so i called the dog warden to collect her.

He came and scanned her which they found a chip but could not get through on the phone to get the address details

Anyway the next day he rang to say that she was registered to an address in Kent, bearing in mind that i live in nottinghamshire
he would not give me further details just told me that she was being moved to the pound for 7 days, we are now on day 3 and still noone has come to collect her, i am worried for the fact that she might not end up with a home and a beautiful dog like that there is no way i will let them put her down.

I rang the council but they wont tell me where she is i really need help to find out what the best way to go about this is?
Does anyone know where dog wardens take strays i do not know any pounds in my area?

hi there your best option is to go on the net and put in a search for dog rehoming centre's i know afew im in northampton so thats not to far from you look these up for the number hope it helps forest lodge rehoming quinton northampton jay-g brixworth northampton ill see if i can get any in your area and get back to you

hi im back got just two in your area bramcote animal rescue
( 07040401364) and east midlands rescue centre you will have to find the tel number for that one but there both in nottinghamshire hope this helps and good luck

Thanks for all the info

i have tried to get in touch with another local dog warden they said that the council will not disclose details of the whereabouts of the dog until the 7 days are up.

My only worry is that i want this dog to go to a good home and not to be pts thats the last thing i want for it, she is absolutly beautiful and i am so supprised that noone has come forward for her as i can tell that she has been brought up well and been treated right

if they dont find someone for her then i will rehome her and try my best to find her owners, it just seems that the council are not intrested

ill register the details on the web and see if anyone comes forward thats my best option i think and wait for them to let me know after 7 days, i just hope she is ok she doesnt seem the kennel type bless her

Have you been in touch with Dalmatian welfare??? http://www.dalmatianwelfare.co.uk/index.php?page=0000000030 not sure if they could help but it may be worth calling them to see if they have advice?
