Pet Chat: Forums God Bless Rocky xxx Pet Chat Forum Index » Rainbow Bridge Printable Version    View previous topic :: View next topic Author Message carolmystic HouseTrained Joined: Sep 04, 2007 Posts: 82 Age: 51 No.Of Pets: 4 Pet Types: cats and dogs Karma: 0 Thank Location: london Medals: None 631 PetPounds Items Status: Offline Post subject: God Bless Rocky xxx Rocky my 14 year old cat had to be put to sleep on the 27th Dec. he had a huge growth and was slowly starving to death. he was ill all over christmas and didnt even want any turkey.the vet said he must have had it a long time but it had only just started to show. the vet said there was nothing she could do and there was no choice but to let him go peacfully. it was such a shock. last week he was out and about and doing what he normaly does and then he was at the vets. i stayed with him and he passed away in my arms. i am sure that he got so ill so very quickly becuse he was very close to Chap our old dog who had to be put to sleep on the 3rd Dec. he used to come in crying until he found Chap and then fuss all around him, and they would curl up together and sleep. they are together again now and i am taking comfort in that. Gone from this world Rocky but not from our hearts. Be free Rocky and be happy. You will always remember your cat and if one day you do decide to get another cat remember it will not be a replacement no matter what people say your Rocky was a cat in his own right. My first cat died 5 years ago and my children still point to star in the sky and say it is 'Twiglet'.
