Have they got plenty of fresh hay? Hay should be greenish and sweet smelling, and if you buy from a petshop, chances are its dry, brown and tasteless. You could try and buy a bale for a few quid at a horse feed centre or order online. ALso, chew toys like untreated willow may help deter them. In the piccie below you can see the chew proofing my shed has (silver bit), you can buy it at most DIY shops, not sure if it work in hutches though... I use these and they love them my hutch doesn't get any punishment anymore lol.
