Hello one and all!!! Its been a while since ive been on here, infact ive not had internet for nearly a month. Phil and me have recently moved house,we are now renting as the mortgage was getting a bit to much for us. We had split at the begining of the year, but as you can guess we are back together. The dogs have settled in well, and linford hasnt really been affected. I also now have 3 rats, females called tulula (think thats how you spell it) florence and evil edna. She is evil as she bites alot,i want to stress to you all i didnt name them their previous ownwer did.
They have come to me from one of my bosses as she was allergic to them, they were her sons. Ive had rats before, but do need some help with these ladies. They are just over a year old,and really havent been handled much at all. So are all very nervous and edna bites alot, hence the name evil edna. I have never had to tame older rats before,so can anyone give me a bit of advice please with regards to this.
I have missed you all and when my internet is back up and running i will be on here alot more (i am on mum and dads computer at the mo)

Hi! Glad to hear your all settled Awwww can't wait to see pics of the rats Reggie wasn't tame when i first got him ( i know he's not a rat lol) but i found with him the best thing to do was sit in the bathroom ( so that he couldnt escape anywhere) and let him run round and eventualy he would jump all over me gradually gaining my trust. I started off by stroking him alot for a few weeks before trying to pick him up. He became alot easier to handle in the end ( all gone down the pan now though since he had to have those tablets ) Anyway good luck and im sure evil Edna will come round eventually
