Post subject: Itchy and scratchy Reply with quote

Hi, my 3 year old rescue cat has been scratching his face and ear area for quite a few months now, leaving nasty wounds and missing fur. He originally had ear mites and then otitis, which were all successfully cured, his ears are now clean. So why is he still scratching? Mange and parasites and fungus have been ruled out. He has respiritory allergies, so could it be skin allergies? I hope not - is there anything else it could be? I've been to several vets here (Taiwan) and they are at a loss. Thanks for any help!
