Post subject: so much for being a good breeder!!!!!!!!
well that woman i got my mice off has alot to answer for Yesterday was the first day since i have had my mice that i have managed to handle them and get a good look at them, awww how cute are they was our first impression.........then when we had a closer look we realised that our 4 females are infact 2 females and 2 males! To late now, the females are already heavily pregnant by the looks of it, so iv no got to rush out and get more cages, seperate the males which will probably need a cage each as the males always end up fighting and then theres the babies when they are born that will need sorting out when they are weaned, problem is i havnt got a clue what im doing as iv never intended on breeding them.
I did some research yesterday and found out its possible for them to have 20 pups plus per litter This is going to be fun ____________

Oh dear! Is she a member of the fancy mice club? if so report her to them, I mean mice are pretty darn easy to sex! However, I'd contact her first tell her your situation and if she is a good breeder she will be as horrified as you and offer to help! If not, maybe join a mouse forum as she what you need to be feeding them, I know with hamsters you feed them lactol, but haven't a clue when it comes to mice!
Hope the litters are small, how awful!

no hun she was reccomended to me by someone, i have tried contacting her and so far have not heard anything back, im so annoyed at the moment xx ____________

omg how irresponsible is that she shouldnt be allowed to breed, its good that you are prepared to look after them all though well done you. ____________
