| ah as most of you already know ive become mum to 7 baby bunnys my darling children decided to let there bunnys play together in the run and hey presto 4 wks later my little one shouts mam come check hare somethings up with her.I ran over expectin the worse and seen hair everywhere. As i opened the bedding department out jumped these babys. They must have been about 10 days old as most of them had there eyes open i asked kieron why he didnt notice when he cleaned them out but he said he just left the bedding bit as it was still full of hay and just cleared the mucky bits. There now about 3 wks old and are gorgeous there just started trying to eat the mothers food.We have 3 wild colur babies and 4 beige coloured. |

| we try not to take much notice of them as ive told the children they cant keep any. They have to be reminded most of the time to sort the adults out.We have a home for two of them already across the road so i do try to handle them as much as poss at the moment especialy with us going away next week. The mother looks awful though as shes still feeding she is pretty scrawny so will have to fatten her up again and keep her away from thumper |

right biteable you should be encouraging them to eat solids now, i have bred numerous litters of kits so i know. Now they should start to be weaning.
Dont worry, about the doe, she will regain former glory when the kits go, try adding some vitamin drops to her water, and giving her lots of veg and fruit that are full of vitamins, i reccomend broccoli, oranges, and extersions
Oh and bye the way the wild looking ones are called agouti
Best wishes |

it's so exciting having bubbies isnt it? On tuesday morning we sadly ahd one bunny die, she had been sick for 7 weeks, But when I opened the door to the sleeping area of another bunnies hutch I noticed tonnes of fur, and it was moving lol.
I didnt touch it, but yelled to my hubby " we got babiees" lol.
I ahdnt checked the sleeping area the day before as had been in a rush to get the sick bunny to the vets. But we have three babies, sadly one was found dead, bless it.
It so exciting though, moved daddy bunny away ( we were told he was "done" but obviously isnt)
It is very exciting though, and sooooo hard not to keep trying to get a peek at them.
mum had been pulling fur for a while, but lawys made a nest and destroyed it before hand. I have a dwarf size bunny who pulls fur too, but she never been near a boy bunny, so I know she not about to have babies!
I bet you're kids r excited.
Oh, and hello,I am new here btw lol
