No reputable breeder would want to use your dog at stud unless he had been shown and he was an exemplary example of his breed. Owning a stud dog is not an easy way to make money. Bearing in mind you have a bull terrier he could become dog aggressive and they tend to start cocking their leg in the house. Also you would need to have a steady supply of bitches for him.
Are you prepared to take responsibility for any puppies he produces or do you feel that once he's done his bit the puppies are all the bitch owners responsibility?
Ask yourself the question 'who would use your dog at stud' some of his pups could end up being bought by entirley the wrong people.
I'd say keep him as a pet. He doesn't need to have puppies.

When our cat had her three kittens there were no problems at all, they seem to sort it all out for themselves. We had previously made her a cosy area to have her babies but she chose to give birth in the airing cupboard on a duvet (not silly are they?) and that became their bed for the next 6 weeks.

It was an absolutely great experience and fortunately we kept one kitten (who grew into the most lovable cat ever) and found good homes for the other two.
