Mum looks really contented now

no unfortunatly none of the kitties will be curly coated but that doesnt matter they are still gorgeous.
can i ask everyone to ask around for good homes?
each kitten will be:
vaccinated
vet wormed
frontlined
vet checked
neutered/spayed
blood tested (to be doubly sure daddy hasnt given them something nasty)
and they will come with a diet sheet, large bag of food, litter sample, care sheets, toys and vaccination records.
all of this is going to cost me a minimum of £200 per kitten - i'm not asking this much but they are more expensive than "ordinary" moggies. the kittens could have been registered as cornish varients as dsh (dad) is a reccognised outcross for cornish - but i would rather they go to pet homes - hence the neutering.
thanks

i didn't think you could neuter cats until they are 5-6 month old? but i do think its a good idea to get everything done. i'd love one, but will have to suffice with the pics. ____________

no there is a common misconception that neutering (in cats not dogs) can only be done from 4months old. however many many vets are now practicing early neutering as all studies have shown no detrimental effects - they grow the same as cats that are neutered at 4. 8 & 12 months. if your interested i can find you a couple of links to the research. it has been found to have a more positive effect as kittens recover quicker from the anaesthetic and appear to need less recouperation time.

i think that is great news. it means the breeders can have more of the responsibility and unless it is a cat that is good to breed from it makes sense.
yeah send me the articles i would like to read them. i don't own cats anymore, but stuff like that is always interesting. maybe you could post something on the site. may be good for everyone to have a read of. ____________

posted as requested. i have stuck a few links in the petchat general pets forum. with the request it be made sticky as it does have lots of valuable information, and is something all breeders/owners should consider.
