I had worried for a bout a week with Freya and in the end she came and sat down next to me and started to push! Awwwwww it was so magical!
She was sooo brave! I hope you don't fall asleep and miss it all! Me and the kids all stood round Freya while she had them it was wonderful and she was purring away like there was no tomorrow after a few yelps!
I really am watching this thread now as I know what you are going through! It is soooooo exciting! |

Freya went really over affectionate just before her labour started it was like she was in pain but had come to me for some reasurance then just as she got comphy I thought I wonder! I lifted her tail up and there was a milky discharge and all the fur round her bum was wet then she literally started pushing and with in about 5 minutes she had had her first baby!
God I have to stop i'm getting all broody! lol |

lol no! - we have had some nesting today so i am all fingers crossed for tonight. she is now day 67 but i know some oriental breeds carry until day 72 (there is alot of oriental and siamese outcrossing in cornish rex to widen the gene pool) so i am not too concerned yet. if she hasnt had them by tuesday though were gonna go to the vets for a check up!
lots of kitten movement still so i know everything is ok on that score and she is still "leaking" mucous which from reading up is a good sign.
she is eating well and has LOADS of milk!
