Post subject: VERY URGENT APPEAL BY RODENT PALACE RESCUE Reply with quote

We have run our rescue for over 10 years & for the past year we have been fighting the council to keep it open but sadly we have been forced to close as they have now decided to go for possession of my home.

They have no issues over the care & up keep of the animals, its more about the numbers we have in our care as the council dont seem to understand how a rescue like ours works.

We need to urgently rehome as many animals we can before the first court date in June to give us a chance of keeping my home & also keeping our own pets.

Syrian Hamsters, all female, 1 white with black ears, approx 5/6 months old, golden, approx 4/5 months old, white with grey patch face, 4/5 months old, all friendly but will need lots of tlc, large cages available, donation is required.

Gerbils, young/adult available, single sex groups & single gerbils available
some nice colours, make very good pets, tanks available, donation is required.

Spiny Mice, we have 5 single mice & a pair available, very intelligent social animals, have spikes on part of there backs, no usual mouse odours
more of a hands off pet, tanks available, donation is required.

If you think you can offer any of these animals a home, please get in touch, Tel 07758 381787 or email rodentpalace.rescue1@tesco.net

We are based in ELLESMERE PORT, CHESHIRE, 5 Mins Off Jun 7 M53

With the rescue closing we dont have much funding coming in, we would be very grateful of any donations of Gerbil/Hamster/Chinchilla/Guinea Pig
food, sawdust, hay etc.

Post subject: VERY VERY URGENT APPEAL FOR NEW HOMES Reply with quote

We thought we would of rehome alot of the rodents by now by sadly thats not the case.

We have just had a lot of time wasters or people arranging to come but not turn up, which is very unfair knowing the stress we are under at the moment.

The thing is we dont know how the court will go in June, if things dont go our way, there in help coming from the RSPCA so sadly any rodents we cannot rehome we have to be put a sleep, as if I lose the flat we only have so much room at friends & family to keep so many rodents.

We very urgently need to rehome as many rodents as we can before June is on top of us.

Please check out our ads on here & if you think you can offer one of many rodents a loving home, please get in touch ASAP

Thanks Ian & Carol
