When to worm.........

I have a 16-wk old Crestie and have wormed him this week, he is due again at 24 weeks, then the advice is to worm every 3-6 mths, so when do i worm my bubbles - 3, 4, 5 or 6mths??!! I assume the smaller the dog the less you worm them?

i would say about 5 months as he is a small breed. Smile

If you go away anytime and the dog needs wormed i think the vet can do it all

Basically, the size of your dog has nothing to do with how often she should be wormed. Which wormer are you using? Really whether you worm her every 3 months or every 6 months depends on various factors, ie contact with other dogs, whether you have children/your pup comes into contact with them (some kinds of intestinal worms have serious health implications for young children) and that sort of thing.
I personally worm my two dogs every three months, because I have two small nephews and just wouldn't like to take the risk!
