Karma: 15 Thank Medals: None 2271 PetPounds Items Status: Offline Post subject: Some hamsters are more vocal than others, my girl when she was a baby, the breeder said she was the noisest hamster they'd had in a few years, and she does seem quite content speaking to me...herself or her imagery friend, bless her. Squeaking shouldn't be 24/7 its usually if the hamster is startled, happy etc. Are you positive it is actually squeaking? Could it be a rattly chest from a chest infection? I would guess though, if she is ill that it would be very serious and obvious by a month, so its probably just her being talkitive. What bedding do you use?
