Cats are such free spirits and with so many little birds and mice etc about he may have just wandered off. Try not to worry too much as now the weather has changed he may be having a roam around. My little Tomcat Daffy used to do this quite frequently during spring/summer, he'd be gone for 2-3 days at a time and just come back eat a belly full and sleep all day as though nothing had happened. It would be good if you could give more info. and a picture so some serious serching can be done. Come home soon Potter.
