My dog is a Vizsla, so very short haired. She never washes herself (well apart from her bum), and her belly often has bits of mud on it - plus she smells horrid around her belly region .... like a musty armpit !!! Even if you tickle her belly, your hand smells afterwards. So, although she gets bathed occasionally, i thought i could give her belly a wipe down with a baby wipe after a walk. What do you think ? Will it be harmful to her skin ? I suppose not as they are for delicate skin. Most show bags contain baby wipes, I shampoo mine in Johnson's baby shampoo and basic skin creams are good too for minor problems, especially Sudocreme.
